When Helping Hurts Seminar
Many well-meaning attempts to help poor people are based on faulty assumptions about the nature of poverty, resulting in approaches that do harm to those who are poor and to those who are trying to help them.  Brian Fikkert, co-author of When Helping Hurts, a book that has greatly influenced the ministry of City Church, is speaking at Christ Presbyterian on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00AM-12:00PM.  There is no cost to attend the seminar, but you will need to register at: www.christpres.org.
