The 5th Annual Getaway Weekend is April 9-11th at Camp NaCoMe! Space is limited, so sign up soon!! Click HERE to register online... Where Camp NaCoMe - Pleasantville, TN, 1 hour, 45 mins. from Nashville Directions (note: do NOT follow the directions from Google or mapquest…they are misleading!): Take I-40 West to exit 172. Take a left off the exit ramp. Travel down Hwy 46 appx 8 miles. At four-way stop, take a right onto Hwy100. Follow Hwy100 through the square in Centerville, staying right as you pass through the square. Continue on Hwy 100 for 12 miles. You will see a green Hwy sign that says "NaCoMe 1/4 mile." Take a right onto NaCoMe Road and follow to the camp, appx 2 miles. When: Friday, April 9th registration starts at 6:00, first gathering is at 7:30 PM (eat on the way or bring a picnic dinner). The last official meeting time will be over Saturday, April 11th at 6:15PM and dinner will be over at 7:30 PM. For those that are staying for Saturday night too, you are free to pack up and leave any time after breakfast on Sunday morning. Cost: 1 night stay - $85 per person includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday. 2 night stay - $105 per person includes the above plus Sunday breakfast. Children: Age 5-12: 1 night stay - $35 per child 2 night stay - $50 per child (children 4 and under are free) Childcare will be provided during the meeting times. A $50 deposit per person (non-refundable) is due before March 28th to reserve your spot. Make checks out to CCEN (for line: "Getaway Weekend") and give to Catherine Clement at church on Sunday or mail to: City Church of East Nashville, 1021 Russell St. Nashville, TN 37206 The remainder will be due upon arrival at the camp. **And if you are able, you are invited to contribute a little extra for scholarships in your deposit. Let your abundance supply for someone else’s lack. Lodging: We will be staying in cabins that sleep up to 8 per room, each with a private bath. The rooms include bunk beds (single mattresses) and one double bed. Families with children will each have their own rooms. There are heaters in the cabins. What to bring: Towel, bedding (single or double sheets) or sleeping bag, pillow, blanket. Feel free to bring bikes, kayaks, canoes, fishing poles, board games etc. There are canoes and funyaks at the camp. Snacks: We are asking everyone to pitch by bringing snacks. So if your last name ends in A-M please bring a salty snack (chips, pretzels, granola bars, etc.). If you last name ends in N-Z please bring a sweet snack (cookies, brownies, candy, etc.). Please make sure the snack is non-perishable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Carpooling: Contact your Neighborhood Group members and organize your own carpooling. **Cell phones do not work at Camp NaCoMe. The emergency # there is (931) 729-9723, www.nacome.org.
